200 grams of whole grain flour,
50 grams of wheat flour,
90 grams of brown sugar,
90 grams of butter,
50ml of milk,
60 grams of maple syrup (can be replaced with honey or molasses, consider that taste will differ in each case),
30 grams of pure vanilla extract,
1/2 hl baking powder,
1/3 hl cinnamon,
1/3 teaspoon of salt.
In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cinnamon.
Cut butter into cubes and chop into fine powder together with the flour mixture with a blender or by hands.
Pour maple syrup (black molasses or honey), vanilla extract and milk. Knead the dough and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
Sprinkle the surface of the table with flour and roll the dough into a layer 2-3 mm thick. If you have a patterned rolling pin, apply an impression. Cut the dough with a knife or shaped forms.
Bake on a baking sheet covered with baking paper in a well-heated to 200 C oven. Baking time 7-10 minutes, you should pull them out when the cookies are lightly browned.
Such cookies are stored up to 2 weeks in a container.
